NEW YORK – New York City authorities dismantled two parties early Saturday morning, a few hours after the start of the new New York restrictions imposed by Governor Andrew Cuomo, where services inside restaurants and bars must end at 10:00 pm each night and private meetings must not be more than 10 people in their effort to combat a second wave of COVID-19.
One of the parties was reported at a commercial location, located at 516 West 26th Street, in the Chelsea area of Manhattan, where they found around 1:00 a.m. m, more than 205 people, without complying with biosafety rules, such as the use of masks and physical distancing, and without a license to sell liquor.
On this occasion, four people, organizers of the event, received various charges for violating current executive orders due to the coronavirus pandemic and not having a liquor license.
