The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) verified the destruction of 1,902,544 kilos of cocaine and 63,560,289 grams of marijuana, with a commercial value of $47,902,414.88.
This destruction was carried out thanks to coordinated work with the National Civil Police (PNC) on the Changallo property, in the municipality of Ilopango.
According to reports, the incinerated drugs contain 1,482 kilos of cocaine that were seized from 9 foreigners, who are already in prison for this case of illicit trafficking.
In addition, they destroyed 1,902,544 kilos of cocaine and 63,560,289 grams of marijuana related to 60 cases that have already been prosecuted, seized in San Salvador and Santa Ana.
