Zam Zam water typical taste. Because of this, it seems a bit difficult to fool people about the authenticity of Zamzam water. But, apart from the distinctive taste, can we know the authenticity of Zamzam water from other ways?
In an event ‘Eureka! 17th Edition: The Miracle of Zamzam’s Water, Dr. Dasapta Erwin Irawan Hydrogeology Researcher from the Bandung Institute of Technology said that another way is to test the quality of the water. Zamzam itself has been researched and has a number of distinctive features.
“What is certain is the way to test the quality. If the quality is the same as the example on my slide, then you can be more certain, although it’s not certain either, OK,” said Erwin.
In his presentation, Erwin mentioned a number of Zamzam criteria. First, the PH ranges from 7.65 for water taken directly and 7.6 for bottled water. Then there are lots of ingredients in it such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and so on. Details can be read below:

“But we also need to know that if water comes out or has been packaged, no matter how good the packaging is, there will be changes. That’s why when we test water, it usually has to be in a box or bottle that is not transparent,” he said.
“Once the sample bottle is translucent, then if there is an organism, if it is triggered by sunlight, its activity becomes more intensive. Well, it multiplies faster. That can also change the quality of the water,” he continued.
Therefore, apart from checking, the way to ensure that the water we receive is really Zamzam is to choose a trusted packer. If you are sure of the packaging, then there is no need to worry about the authenticity of the Zamzam water that is already in hand.
