The AUSTRIAN SDG-AWARD, an initiative of the Ethics Advisory Board of the Senate of Business, aims to make pioneers in the implementation of the SDGs known to a wider audience through this award. The prize has been awarded by the Senate of Economy to Austrian companies that have comprehensively integrated the UN sustainability goals into their processes since 2017. Since 2019, the Austrian SDG Award has also been given in the categories of youth / education, media / journalists as well as cities and municipalities.
All companies, media / journalists and publishers, all initiatives by and for young people as well as all cities, municipalities or associations of municipalities are eligible – regardless of their size. All submitters must show the seat and the implementation of the SDGs in Austria. The AUSTRIAN SDG AWARD 2020 will be held this time on Presented on September 6, 2021 at 4 p.m. in the boutique city hotel. Moderated by Christian Clerici, prominent laudators present the coveted awards to the winning projects in the categories of companies, youth / education, journalists / media and communities. The event will be streamed live and can therefore also be experienced online.
