The award for the best female leading role went to Christine Ostermayer for “We’ll stay a bit”, the male counterpart went to Thomas Prenn for “Hochwald”. Best male supporting actor was Omid Memar for “7500” by director Patrick Vollrath. Vollrath and Senad Halilbašić also received the award for the best screenplay.
“Die Dohnal” by Sabine Derflinger was best documentary, Niki Mossböck received the award for the best editing for the film about the minister of women, feminist and visionary.
And the prizes for the best costume design (Cinzia Cioffi) and the best music (Florian Horwath) also went to “Hochwald”. “But Beautiful” by Erwin Wagenhofer was recognized as the “cinema film with the greatest audience”. And “The Washing Machine” by Dominik Hartl as best short film.
