Thirteen pedestrians were injured when they were hit by a car in St. Florian, Austria. The victims were this morning at a market stall near the abbey in the village, which is not far from Linz.
Five people suffered serious injuries, one of whom is life-threatening. The driver of the car is an 87-year-old man, who was also injured.
The elderly person could not yet be questioned, so it is still unclear why he drove into the stall. According to the local police, everything points to an accident and not to a deliberate act.
