Kurz, 35, has confirmed to Kronen Zeitung that he will start working as a global strategist for Thiel Capital in the first quarter of this year.
Thiel Capital is headquartered in California.
According to Bloomberg, the 54-year-old Till’s wealth is about seven billion US dollars (about six billion euros).
Till was one of the founders of the PayPal payment system and ran it for sale to eBay in 2002. He is a shareholder and a member of the board of directors of the social network Facebook parent company Meta.
