Austria maintains quarantine obligation for NL • WHO denounces ‘vaccine apartheid’

At the start of the corona crisis last year, business confidence dropped to a low point. Since then confidence has risen again, but now for the first time more entrepreneurs are positive than negative, it reports CBS.

For the third quarter in a row, entrepreneurs in the construction industry are the most positive about the current state of the economy. Then the wholesaler follows. Business confidence has also risen within the car trade, although car dealers generally remained gloomy.

Catering entrepreneurs saw their earnings model collapse due to the corona measures, but are now also cautiously positive. They are particularly optimistic about the prospect that the measures will be phased out over the next three months.
