Australian soap “Neighbours” (“Neighbours”) finally stops after 37 years

“Neighbours”, the soap about the lives of the residents of Ramsay Street, was first broadcast in Australia on March 18, 1985 and became a worldwide success.

For many actors – think Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan – the soap was a stepping stone for their careers. The series was especially popular with us in the 80s and 90s, when the episodes were also broadcast in prime time. “Neighbors” could be seen for years on One, last year the series moved to VTM 2.
