BOLASPORT.COM – Indonesian Female Singles Badminton Player, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung managed to reach the final Australian Open 2022 after defeating Chinese representative Han Yue.
In the Semi Final which was held at the Quay Centre, Sydney, Australia on Saturday (19/11/2022), Gregoria met 7th seed Han Yue.
Despite the delay in the first game, Gregoria was able to recover in the next two games and finished the match with the score of 18-21, 21-16, 21-14.

Gregoria started the first game quite well, Indonesia’s women’s singles hope managed to score consecutive three-pointers to give them a 3-0 lead over Han.
However, Han was not silent. It didn’t take long for the Han to tie it up at 3-3. After equalizing the actual score, Han continued to launch attacks against Gregoria.
However, Gregoria was still able to withstand the attacks thrown by Han and keep her lead when the score was 7-4.
It’s a shame Gregoria couldn’t continue this momentum, because Gregoria trailed at halftime of game one by a score of 9-11.
After halftime of the first game, Han was able to turn the pressure on Gregoria, thanks to the score of four consecutive points made by Han leading with a score of 15-9.
