Novak Djokovic has won, for now, the legal battle to recover his visa and stay in Australia with the sole objective of playing the first ‘Grand Slam’ of the calendar from next Monday.
Judge Anthony Kelly has agreed with the tennis player in the trial that took place this Monday in Melbourne, estimating irregularities by the border police at the time of requesting and analyzing the evidence on the player’s medical exemption.
Everything is right now in the hands of Alex Hawke, the country’s immigration minister who has acknowledged that he is analyzing the case thoroughly.
