Ecuador lost 1-3 against Australia in a 2023 international friendly match that was played in the city of Sydney. Goals for the Kangaroos were scored by Jackson Irvine, Awer Mabil and Garang Kuol. The discount for the northerners was scored by Félix Caicedo.
