–The Australian drug regulator said a specialized investigation had found that the death of a 48-year-old woman in the state of New South Wales was probably related to vaccination.
“As there is no other cause for the clinical syndrome, the vaccine safety investigation team believes that a causal link to vaccination should be allowed in this case,” the agency said.
According to her, this is the third case of rare blood clots related to the vaccine in Australia, and the other two people have successfully recovered. The woman died four days after the vaccination.
Her condition was complicated by previous health problems, including diabetes, as well as some atypical symptoms, the regulatory agency said.
