Thiruvananthapuram: The Australia-Netherlands ODI World Cup warm-up match was abandoned due to heavy rain. Unfortunately, the match started late due to rain at the Greenfield Stadium. Therefore it was reduced to 23 overs. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, the Aussies scored 166 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Batting in reply, the Netherlands reached 84 for six in 14.2 overs. With this, the match was cancelled.

Colin Ackerman was the top scorer of the Netherlands who was standing at the crease with 31 runs. He was accompanied by Lagon van Beek (9). Vikramjik Singh (9), Sibrand Englebrush (9) and Scott Edwards (14) are the other players out. Mitchell Marsh, Sean Abbott and Marnus Labuschagne took a wicket each.
