The Bicentenaries Trophy is up for grabs and the Wallabies are ready to defend it! The French are back on Australian soil for the first time since 2014 and they have already managed to break their winless streak in Australia; will they be able to win the beauty in this rugby match?

The Australia France odds are in favor of the Wallabies while the Blues will clearly run for this third test match in 10 days. After a defeat on the wire (23-21), Fabien Galthié’s men thus won the first French success on Australian soil for 31 years (26-28).

Australia made 8 changes

A favorite in the home game, the odds for Australia to win are 1.45.

Wallabies coach Dave Rennie made eight changes to the starting squad for their decisive test against France.

Scrum-half Tate McDermott will start after a series of good performances coming off the bench in partnership with Noah Lolesio. He is joined in the starting squad by Len Ikitau and Darcy Swain.

Swain teams up with Lukhan Salakaia-Loto on the second row, Allan Alaalatoa replacing Taniela Tupou on the front row who announces heavy.

Meanwhile, Rennie opted to refresh his third line, with the return of Lachie Swinton headlining. Swinton places himself as a flanker on the blind side alongside Waratahs captain and teammate Michael Hooper, with Isi Naisarani selected at number 8.

In the back lines, Ikitau joins Hunter Paisami in crosses while Filipo Daugunu replaces Tom Wright on the wing.

Jordan Uelese steps in from the side, while Reece Hodge will also make his first appearance for the Wallabies this year via the bench.

“We always knew with the series lineup against a tough French team, that it would take a full team effort and we’ll see it on Saturday night,” Rennie said in a statement.

France made 7

Outsider of the meeting, France’s victory is rated at 2.50.

France made seven changes to the starting XV to face Australia and Antoine Hastoy making his opening debut.

After starting the first two games, Gabin Villière and Jonathan Danty came out due to injuries, with Teddy Thomas and Pierre-Louis Barassi entering the XV.

Arthur Vincent moves to the inside of the center to support Barassi while Hastoy teams up with Baptiste Couilloud, who remains the scrum-half for his third game of the tour.

Up front there are also changes as Dylan Cretin starts in the third row, replacing Ibrahim Diallo, who is completely excluded from the squad.

On goal, Romain Taofifenua is rewarded for his impact off the bench on Tuesday and joins Cyril Cazeaux on the second row.

Enzo Forletta and Tapu Falatea also enter the camp, this time for Jean-Baptiste Gros and Wilfrid Hounkpatin respectively.
