There are two teams that have confirmed tickets to qualify for the next phase or round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup as of Thursday (18/1) evening, namely Qatar and Australia.
Australia is the latest team that can win a ticket to the round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup. This certainty was achieved by the team coached by Graham Arnold after winning 1-0 over Syria on the second matchday of Group B at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Al Rayyan, Qatar, Thursday, ( 18/1).
Australia’s only goal was scored by midfielder, Jackson Irvine in the 59th minute.
This result made Australia achieve perfect results in the first two Group B matches of the 2023 Asian Cup by collecting six points.
