About the Chilean Theater Day, from May 11 to 22, the first version of the Theater and Education Encounter will be held Austral Scene.
The event aims to promote theater within the cultural scene of southern Chile. Likewise, to position itself as a must-see within the cultural agenda of the Creative City of Music, Frutillar.
Austral Scene is an initiative born from the La Santa + Alipio production companies, with the co-production of Lake Theater and has the support of important collaborators such as the Mustakis Foundation and the GAM.
In its first version, it will have different activities both for theatrical exhibition and educational content for different audiences.
Among the opening activities this Tuesday, May 11, a free monologue function stands out Breath, written by Elisa zulueta and directed by Alvaro Viguera.
The work, which It will be broadcast at 8:00 p.m., puts on screen Delfina Guzman to speak with sadness and humor of old age, loneliness and death.
The audiovisual version of this work will include a tribute to the actress and a live conversation.
Guzmán will be recognized for her work, with decades serving the performing arts.
