Given the persistence of the health emergency that forces the gyms to close and which in fact limits the possibilities of physical activity to the vast majority of the population, the Sport Medicine Service of the Ausl Romagna, in collaboration with the company by Dr. Paolo Di Bartolo) and the Diabetics Association of Ravenna, has created video tutorials that teach in a simple way how to carry out proper and adequate physical activity at home.
The exercises proposed in the videos are dedicated to those people who need to keep their blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure under control, improve cardiovascular health and help control body weight or who simply want to get better. They are preparatory, such as warm-up exercises, to forms of physical activity to be carried out outdoors (walking) or to be carried out at the end of these, such as stretching exercises. There is a part dedicated to balance which is suitable for older people to combine with toning exercises. A section is dedicated to those people who suffer from chronic low back pain for which the proposed exercises are aimed specifically at controlling back pain
