November is a month full of concerts in Colombia. From the most popular ones like Paul McCartney, Feid or Slipknot’s two nights at the Movistar Arena, to those aimed at a more specific audience, all of them generate great expectations.

Among the presentations along these lines, Aurora stands out, a Norwegian singer-songwriter recognized for her participation in the soundtrack of Frozen II (in its English-speaking version) and which already delighted Colombians during its time at the Estéreo Picnic 2023 Festival with a staging and repertoire designed to generate a cinematic atmosphere, capable of captivating listeners with elements such as the ancient costumes that she and her accompanying band dress, their histrionic movements and minimalism on the screens that evoke a fascination with nature and open spaces that ended up defining her career.

Aurora will present its fourth full-length in Colombia, What Happened to the Earth? during their concert in the Big Tent of Corferias on Wednesday, November 6but before the presentation the singer decided to take some time out of the day to visit one of the obligatory stops for many of the foreign artists who visit the country’s capital: Monserrate.

On his Instagram account, The singer uploaded a video and some photographs taken in the morning visiting the hill with the members of her live band. For the visit, Aurora wore a casual and simple outfit consisting of a green coat, shorts and long socks. “Bogotá, Colombia, is made of dreams,” he wrote in the publication.

In the photographs that included snapshots of the cloudy landscape at the top of Monserrate, the presence of the singer stood out in two situations: one, while visiting one of the souvenir and craft shops in Monserrateand the other while she posed next to some garbage cans that had notices indicating where the waste should be deposited, something that took her followers by surprise, who did not expect to see her posing for a photo like that.

It didn’t take long for her fans to respond, especially the Colombians who are waiting to see her in Corferias. “See you now Mor”, “A normal day in Monserrate”, “Welcome to Colombia my little fairy”, were some of the responses that had the most impact.
