The series is about three neighbors who are obsessed with all kinds of crime. When a murder was committed in their home, they decided to start a podcast about it together.
The main roles of the series are played by the famous American comedian Steve Martin (who is also a producer), the pop star Selena Gomez and the comedian Martin Short. This company got a big advantage when Meryl Streep herself joined them in season 3.
Traditionally the previous season ended with a teaser murder, which the funny trio of amateur detectives must solve in the new episodes. And Streep’s heroine is spot on. And this actress, as you know, equals quality in cinema. This is confirmed by the numbers: after season 3, the rating of the series on IMDb is 8.1 out of 10 points, on Rotten Tomatoes – 97% approval from the media and 90% from the viewers . The cocktail of humor and detective mentality hit the spot.

“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”

The ambitious production of “The Lord of the Rings” was supposed to be the most expensive series in history: Amazon provided a billion (!) dollars for 5 seasons of filming. However, as you know, the first season did not receive praise, unlike Peter Jackson’s full series. What was the reason for the low rate?
Weak guidance (about what Focus write in my time). They were Juan Antonio Bayona, Wayne Yip and Charlotte Brandström. Of the three, the producers only kept Charlotte, and Louise Hooper and Sanaa Hamri replaced the first two directors. That is, two-thirds of the director’s staff were replaced.
We will soon see how this will affect the quality of the new season: on August 29, three episodes will be released at the same time (with Hooper and Charlotte). The second season will tell the story of the emergence of Rings of Power.

A darkly humorous retelling of Greek mythology with a modern twist. The subject of gender relations, politics and crime are touched upon here. The moment of action is upon us.
Zeus in the trailer walks around in an Olympian vest (an Olympian god!) and a robe. By chance, he noticed that he had a new wrinkle and thought: could this mean the coming end of the world? Perhaps an assassination attempt is being prepared on the dubious supreme god? Is that why they stopped worshiping him completely recently? Zeus suspects six people on Earth who may be part of an ancient prophecy about the fall of his power.
British writer, screenwriter and actress Charlie Covell is trying her best to update Greek mythology. It seems that she also worked the story of Prometheus into the plot.
But all this has a satirical touch. That’s why we see Zeus in a sports suit, cooking a barbecue near his mansion. That does not stop him from initiating decisive and harsh actions against potential conspirators.
