About the Citizen Music Ensemble
The Ensemble was established in 2004 with the purpose of representing a universal genre such as tango, waltz and milonga, with emphasis on the production of the early 20th century 3 by the hand of Cordovan references such as Edmundo Cartos, Cristino Tapia, Zenobio Gómez , Valeriano Reina and Julio Morcillo, among others. The ensemble format allows us to approach the repertoire, considering the pieces of yesteryear and also the sound of the Cordovan evenings and serenades of those times. It has been presented in various local and interior stages, maintaining its commitment to the genre, and meeting the public live. It is made up of musicians Gabriel E. Aguirre, on guitarrón; Jorge L. Centeno, on double bass; Gustavo D. Gancedo and Gustavo A. Novarece, on guitar; Pedro T. Quiñónez, on bandoneon; and the voices of Sofía I. Murolo and Mariano Mendieta.
