Is fashion only for slim women? Cécile Sauer sees it completely differently. The Augsburg resident has been running the plus-size fashion blog “Theodora Flipper” for almost ten years, and a good 33,000 people follow her on Instagram. Here and there, she shows outfits for curvy women, often in cooperation with fashion companies. She also wants to dispel clichés. She reported on her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter, and spoke openly about the desire to have children and being overweight. “You read so often that fat women cannot get pregnant,” she says in an interview with digital editor Ida König. That is why it was important to her to encourage insecure women.
