AufTakt 2023 – live music in Kaltenkirchen on January 8, 2023

The beginning is the traditional New Year’s reception, to which Mayor Hans-Jürgen Scheiwe and Mayor Hanno Krause cordially invite the citizens of Kaltenkirchen from 11:00 in the council hall of the town hall. As in previous years, the reception intends to honor deserving citizens who have rendered outstanding services to the city of Kaltenkirchen on a voluntary basis. The “Evergreenas” could be won for musical accompaniment.

At the XXXLutz DODENHOF, “The Speedos” will perform several times between 12:00 and 17:00.

“ANDREA & SANTA” will perform on a stage at the Grüner Markt (parking lot) from 13:00 to 15:00. Both perform solo or together in the 6-person Breitenstein Country Band. In Kaltenkirchen, their repertoire as a duo includes rock, pop and country styles.

There the grape marina will offer popcorn, mulled wine, children’s punch, tarte flambée and Viking chess on the pétanque alley from 1pm to 4pm.

The Bad Bramstedt “Jooly Jazz Fools”, also known for previous AufTakt events, will perform their repertoire of jazz, dixie and swing in the city library from 15:00 to 16:00.

Continue at 4pm in the multigenerational house opposite with the performance of “Ricarda Kreutz”. Study from 2020
artistic course with specialization in harp, has already performed with several state youth orchestras, has been part of the “Trio Alveolare” with flute, viola and harp since 2021 and is academician with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck for the 2022 season/ 23.

The grand finale of the AufTakt event will then take place in the Michaeliskirche at 18:00 with a performance by the Chor’82.

There is tension that the choir will also get to perform as a children’s and youth project choir. Under the motto “50 voices – 3 rehearsals – 1 concert”, the choir is looking for children and young people who – after appropriate preparation by the choir – dare to perform in the Michaeliskirche as part of the New Year’s kick-off. The occasion is the 50th anniversary of the city, which will be the occasion for various events in Kaltenkirchen throughout 2023.

“After the corona-related break, we can finally perform the musical kick-off to welcome the new year in Kaltenkirchen. Thanks to the financial support of XXXLutz/Dodenhof, as always free for visitors. Thank you very much. I would also like to thank the responsible for the Ev.-Luth. parish of Kaltenkirchen, the municipal library, the multigenerational house and the grape marina as well as all other parties involved. Lively entertainment awaits us, so stop by and let yourself be inspired!” says Mayor Hanno Krause.
