– We are in a brilliant position to have decisive power and influence over the next four years, says SV leader Audun Lysbakken at the opening of the party’s national board meeting in Oslo on Saturday.
The SV leader pointed out that almost all roads to a majority in the Storting go via SV.
Lysbakken was tight-lipped about the ongoing government polls that are taking place between SV, the Labor Party and the Center Party at Hurdalsjøen hotel.
– There has been a trusting conversation between three parties. Therefore, I will not refer from it, but it has been a good work session, says Lysbakken.
Thanks to billionaires
Lysbakken, however, thanked Norwegian billionaires for the red-green election winner. He drew out proposals from Stein Erik Hagen, Gustav Witzøe and Jan Petter Sissener in the election campaign.
– They thought it was an appropriate time on the way out of the crisis to complain about the conditions of the rich in the country, and to warn against how it would go if SV got power, Lysbakken says.
The party leader believes that the billionaires were interested in talking about SV in the election campaign.
– It is because they saw that we really wanted to do something about the differences in Norway and that we could get the power to make it happen, he says.
– I have considered sending a small flower broom to them now, because I think they contributed exactly the opposite of what they wanted – namely to show why we have to do something with different Norway.
