Audi’s exclusive test prototype series limited to 75 units unveiled (+ PHOTO)

Audi has developed a special model RS e-tron GT project_513/2, which will differ with an unusual design for a production model, imitating the test prototype used during development.

The German automotive company Audi has developed a special model RS e-tron GT project_513/2, which will be released in 75 copies, all cars intended for the US market.

Visually, they resemble the RS e-tron GT prototypes that toured the world as part of the test program, while the version name is a reference to the model’s factory designation in the early stages of development: the numbers indicate the segment, generation and body style.

They differ from the standard model not only with the “camouflage” paintwork, but also with 21-inch wheels, ceramic brake elements and Audi logo circles, which in this case are painted red.

The interior is decorated with carbon fiber fragments and graphics that repeat the camouflage patterns covering the body. They are applied using the “partial matting” method, and mostly by hand. The special edition seats are upholstered in nappa leather, Dinamica microfiber is used for the headrests, and “project_513/2” lettering is found on the center armrest and the multimedia screen.

Standard equipment includes Matrix headlights with laser high beams, carbon fiber roof, chassis with steering rear wheels, Power Steering Plus electromechanical power steering.

The RS e-tron GT project_513/2 two-motor power plant develops 646 hp, can provide a maximum speed of 250 km/h and acceleration to a hundred in 3.3 seconds, while the traction battery will allow you to travel up to 370 km without additional charging.

The special edition is priced at $179,900.
