Deputies Giorgio Jackson (RD) and Cristóbal Urruticoechea (RN) starred in a loud discussion on Tuesday in the El Pensador Hall of the Lower House, regarding the stoppage of truckers. After a press release, Urruticoechea rebuked members of the Frente Amplio for demanding the repression of those who block the routes and, instead, “remain silent” in the face of the arson attacks and shootings of innocent people in the Mapuche macrozone. “That is terrorism, it is crime,” said the official legislator, who three weeks ago faced a controversy for spreading false news on social networks about an alleged “Vietnamese trap” installed in La Araucanía by the Arauco Malleco Coordinator (CAM).
