As we have informed you last week, the war in Ukraine is causing another crisis in the car industry, and after many brands were forced to deal with the semiconductor crisis last year, it is still facing a major problem. Audi is another manufacturer that has said it will suspend production for several weeks due to a shortage of components from Ukraine.
Like the Volkswagen and BMW plants, the shortage of wiring harnesses is also a major problem for Audi, which is forcing the Ingolstadt brand to close some of its plants by April. The news comes from Automobilwoche, citing a letter sent to the brand’s offices in Germany.

The models that will be directly affected are Q4 e-tron, A4, A5, A6, A7, TT, Q7 and Q8. The company has warned local offices to expect “significantly longer delivery times” for these models. According to the information, production of A4, A5, A6 and A7 will be restored in the first or second week of April, while TT, Q8 and Q4 e-tron will return to the production line after mid-April with relatively low capacity.
