Audi RS6 in every generation is to die for, but whether the newest is better is not so obvious. Everyone was waiting for this test and the result is a real surprise.
Mat Watson brought all generations of the Audi RS6 to the track. This drag race reveals the truth that the newest cars don’t have to be better than the older ones. You have to see it
Four generations of the Audi RS6 took off for the quarter, not such a winner was expected
Fans Audi RS6 have long dreamed of such a test, and Mark Watson z CarWow made this dream come true by bringing all generations of this model to the track.
The DRAG RACE race has finally made it clear which generation is the best and fared best in the 1/4 mile race. From the oldest 450hp C5 to the current 600hp C8, the four generations of the RS6 competed first in a standing race and then in a so-called “flying” clash.
This time Mat Watson is behind the wheel of the newest RS6 C8, which has a 4-liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging. It produces 600 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Next to him, Yianni competed in the C7 model, with the same engine but with a power of 605 HP and a slightly lower torque (750 Nm). The older C6, powered by a 5-liter V10 twin-turbo engine, is still admirable, as is the RS6 C5. Here, under the hood, lives a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
While the fact that the oldest Audi RS6 C5 stays at the bottom of the list does not surprise anyone, the winner is a real surprise. Is it worth buying new ones? check it out for yourself
