The Audi Q8 model was revealed in mid-2018 as a more attractive alternative to the Q7 with an SUV-coupe style. Now is the perfect time for a facelift with several new features for the car, whose production is handled by the plant in Bratislava. We are used to a number of them as part of rejuvenation procedures, but at least one will definitely surprise you.
But let’s go in order – the distinguishing sign of the modernized variants are redesigned front and rear bumpers or an innovative design of wheels ranging from twenty-one to twenty-three inches. According to the designers, the eye-pleasing tailpipes of the exhaust system are a novelty for all engines. The individual equipment levels and packages should be much more differentiated from each other thanks to the various materials used.
But the most fundamental external change concerns the lighting. For the first time ever, the Audi Q8 is equipped with Laser Matrix LED headlights with optional light signatures. In practice, it looks like you can use the multimedia system to adjust the appearance of the lights exactly according to your own mood and taste. This applies not only to the headlights at the front, but also to the rear lights, in both cases you have a choice of four different variants.

The changes in the cabin are rather cosmetic. Above all, Audi has expanded the range of available materials that can be used to embellish the interior. Prim continues to play screens – one replacing classic alarm clocks and the other two representing the multimedia system and climate control. The head-up display has undergone a significant modification, which will now display more driving information. You can now download third-party applications from the Audi store, such as the popular music service Spotify.
The customer has a choice of gasoline and diesel six-cylinder with a volume of three liters, the alternative is the electric version of the Q8 e-tron revealed some time ago. Today, the eight-cylinder SQ8 4.0 TFSI (see the gallery below) with 507 horsepower and 770 newton meters of torque sits at the top of the modernized design, which can reach 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds! All engines are mild-hybrids connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard and feature all-wheel drive.

Customers can now order the new Audi Q8. The German car manufacturer announces a price of 2.1 million crowns for the basic diesel, the interested party should have at least 2.8 million CZK saved up for the top-of-the-line SQ8. The complete Czech price list, including the configurator, will certainly appear on the brand’s local website soon.
