Audi has updated the sports version of its smallest crossover :: Autonews

Audi presented restyled version of the SQ2 sports crossover. In Europe, car sales will start next year. Car prices start at € 45,700.

The length of the vehicle is 4.21 meters. The updated crossover received an octagonal Singleframe radiator grille, LED headlights and lamps (for a surcharge, customers will be offered matrix optics), a spoiler, side mirrors with black housings and double tailpipes of the exhaust system.

The interior features sports seats, a multifunction steering wheel, digital instrument cluster and stainless steel pedal pads. The driver has access to an upgraded multimedia system with a large touchscreen display, advanced adaptive cruise control with road sign recognition and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system. The luggage compartment is 355 liters. With the rear seats folded down, this figure rises to 1000 liters.

The updated Audi SQ2 was equipped with a petrol two-liter four-cylinder supercharged engine developing 300 hp. and 400 Nm of torque. The unit works in tandem with a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches, and the traction is transmitted to all wheels. The crossover is capable of accelerating from zero to the first “hundred” in 4.9 seconds, and its maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km per hour.

The crossover received a suspension with sporty settings and reduced ground clearance by 20 mm. In addition, the new product was equipped with brakes with 340- and 310-mm discs in front and rear, respectively.

In September, Audi unveiled an updated version of the standard Q2, which is the German brand’s smallest crossover. In Germany, the prices for the new product have already been announced – those wishing to buy a car will have to pay at least € 25,000. In Russia, the Audi Q2 crossover is not for sale at the moment.
