Audemars Piguet and Keinemusik setting the pace for the future

Recently, at the intersection of nature and music, a transformative experience took place that changed our perception of sound art. Audemars Piguet, the iconic Swiss haute horlogerie brand, invited to a magical encounter at the heights of the Bürgenstock, where the beauty of the alpine landscape merged with the pulsating rhythms of the Keinemusik collective. Following the Audemars Piguet Parallel experience, which brought together several electronic music artists at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the latest musical collaboration with Keinemusik was marked on the calendar of music lovers.

Imagine an idyllic setting, where the mountains meet the sky and the fresh air invites contemplation. It was in this natural setting that this intimate concert was held, not only a tribute to electronic music, but also a tribute to the constant search for new artistic experiences. This Audemars Piguet project, which continues the brand’s long-standing commitment to the world of music, is part of the APxMusic programme, launched in 2019, which supports artists in exploring new creative horizons.

Immersive scenography, nature and music

As night fell, the artists Rampa, &ME and Adam Port, members of the collective, transformed the stage into a haven of immersive sounds. Thanks to the ambitious concept developed together with Audemars Piguet, each chord resonated like a whisper of nature, inviting the audience to leave routine behind and immerse themselves in a world where music comes alive. The evening also included an original composition with innovative South African DJ Uncle Waffles, a gift of sound that left an indelible impression.

The essence of this event was documented in a series of videos that captured the creative process of the collective and the many surprises that took place there. One of these was a brand new song created especially for the occasion with Uncle Waffles, offering an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the passion and dedication that fuels each project.

Keinemusic x Apxmusic

Since its inception in Berlin in 2009, Keinemusik has evolved from a simple record label into a truly global movement, driving unexpected collaborations that mix genres and create memorable experiences. Founded by DJs such as &ME, Adam Port, Rampa and Reznik, this collective has connected with the essence of electronic music, presenting their shows under a distinctive giant cloud and peace symbol, creating a vibrant atmosphere for music lovers.

Throughout its history, Audemars Piguet has cultivated creative relationships with music icons from Jay-Z to Quincy Jones, and its partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival has reinforced its commitment to the art form. In 2019, it became a global partner of the festival and launched the APxMusic programme to support artists from diverse backgrounds. The event in Bürgenstock was a tribute to this long tradition of supporting music and the pursuit of new artistic experiences.

This project followed THe LYONZ’s performance in Montreux in 2021 and laid the groundwork for the Audemars Piguet Parallel concert series in 2022. This exclusive event, accessible only to the winners of a competition, offered the opportunity to enjoy a selection of artists in an unrivalled setting. In the same year, the brand announced Mark Ronson as its new ambassador, bringing to life a series of videos entitled ‘Syncing Sounds’, which documented the creative chemistry between the producer and R&B artist Lucky Daye as they shaped their track ‘Too Much’.

In 2023, Ronson hosted the closing party of the Montreux Jazz Festival, bringing his musical family together for an unforgettable finale. The collaboration with Keinemusik stands as a new chapter in Audemars Piguet’s history, a testament to its dedication to music and its relentless pursuit of innovation. With each new project, the brand continues to surprise and delight its audience, fusing fine watchmaking with the art of music in unexpected ways.
