Auction of works by Colombian artists to help foundation in Soacha – Art and Theater – Culture

After several days of silent bidding, this Thursday, September 16, the fate of the 60 works by renowned artists that are in the auction to support the La Ventana de Soacha project, which explores art in workshops as an agent of social change and uncovers new and unknown talents through a contest held in Soacha, Ciudad Bolívar and Bosa. The auction, the workshops, the contest, everything is part of the celebration of the 15 years of the Fundación Tiempo de Juego (FTDJ).

The works of María Elvira Escallón, Nadín Ospina, Antonio Caro, Luis Roldán, Édgar Negret, Maripaz Jaramillo, Ana Mercedes Hoyos, Eduardo and Carlos Salas, among others, they can be seen in a virtual catalog and in the gallery La Cometa de Bogotá, together with the works of the three new artists who have won the competition.

The auction will be open until Thursday, September 16 at www.tiempodejuego.org. At night, an online and face-to-face event will be held in the same gallery, starting at 7 pm

The Time of Game Foundation began 15 years ago with Andrés Wiesner, who organized a soccer match with several children in Altos de Cazucá. Today it has more than 5,000 participants in activities for art, sports and technology.

“The resources that we will be able to collect will be to strengthen the artistic activities that we offer to boys, girls and young people from communes 4 and 6 of Soacha,” says Esteban Reyes, director of the Foundation.
