Auction of Royal Enfield Motorbikes in Jakarta – Results, Participants, and Details

The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance auctioned off 60 motorbikes Royal Enfield 350-550cc. A total of 3,377 participants took part in the auction.

Director of Legal and Public Relations of the Directorate General of State Assets, Tedy Syandriadi, said that 59 motorbikes were selling well with a total acquisition of IDR 5.83 billion. The funds were obtained through five auction sessions today.

“The auction process is carried out in five sessions starting at 8.30 WIB and ending at 16.30 WIB,” said Tedy in a written statement, Friday (4/8/2023).

Tedy detailed, in the first session with a total limit value of IDR 332.56 million, 12 units had been sold with a value of IDR 1.18 billion. The second session, with a total limit value of IDR 277.00 million, sold 12 units with a value of IDR 897.00 million. Then in the third session with a total limit value of IDR 309.99 million, 12 units were sold with a value of IDR 1.25 billion.

Next, in the fourth session, with a total limit value of Rp. 331.65 million, 12 units were sold with a value of Rp. 1.49 billion. Then finally, in the fifth session with a total limit value of Rp. 272.26 million, 11 units were sold with a value of Rp. 1 billion.

“Thus, the implementation of the Royal Enfield auction on August 4, 2023 resulted in a total principal of Rp. 5.83 billion from the total limit value of Rp. 1.52 billion,” he explained.

As for 60 Royal Enfield those being auctioned came from India, with details of 40 units of the 500cc Royal Enfield Classic and 20 units of the 350cc Royal Enfield Classic. The auction was held today, at the Jakarta II KPKNL through an open bidding system via the auction.go.id website and broadcast live via the Directorate General of State Assets’ (DJKN) YouTube channel.

The auction is a routine activity that is often carried out by DJKN. Various goods can be auctioned through this platform, one of which is Non-Controlled Goods (BTD) of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. BTD is included in the type of goods held by Customs, namely goods that have not or do not comply with customs procedures.

The winning bidder must make payment within five days, according to the price offered, and the security deposit will be deducted. For those who fail to win, the security deposit will be returned within three days. The auction winner who does not pay off the security deposit will not be returned. The money will go into the state treasury.

“For participants who are not designated as the auction winner, the return of the Auction Bid Guarantee (UJPL) will be made a maximum of one working day if the Participating Bank is the same as the KPKNL Perception Bank and a maximum of three working days if the Participating Bank is different from the KPKNL Perception Bank,” he explained.

Participants can periodically monitor mutations in the account number that has been registered in the auction.go.id account and make sure that the Bank Name, Account Holder Name and Account Number are still active and correct.
