Auction in the USA: Inheritance from Siegfried & Roy brings 1.5 million euros | Regional

Rosenheim/Las Vegas – A 14-hour bidding war flushed almost 1.5 million euros into the till.

That’s how much the sale of Siegfried & Roy’s belongings at the Bonhams Los Angeles auction brought in.

The German star magicians Siegfried Fischbacher (†81) and Roy Horn (†75), who had a world career in the USA, had in their will ordered furniture, pictures, porcelain, souvenirs and jewelry from their villas “Little Bavaria” and Jungle Palace up for auction in Las Vegas. In favor of her foundation “Sarmoti”.

Salvador Dali’s elephant sculpture has sold for €15,300.

Her guest book (US$14,025), an elephant sculpture by Salvador Dali (US$15,300) and a French turtle-shaped grandfather clock (US$21,675) were among the top sellers.
