The next generation of CSMA Basket is assured! Three young people, aged 10 and 11, licensed for several years at the club, followed a one-week internship at the SLUC in Nancy. The three players came back delighted, and above all, full of confidence!
Loam, Mathéo and Paul spent a very sporty week in Nancy! “They made us suffer because we haven’t played for a long time. We had not lost in physical condition, ”breathes Mathéo. On their own initiative, the three friends decided to go to training camps for a week.
On the menu, dribbling, double-step, mid-distance shoots and work on the different patterns of play. This desire to progress was welcomed by the leaders of the Aubouésien club. “There is no doubt that they came back from their internship much stronger and this will certainly be seen in the championship,” said Patrick Vidili, president of the Auboué municipal sports office. To support families financially, the OMSA and the CSMA have put their hands in their pockets. “The course still cost € 400 per participant. We could not be insensitive to it. OMSA granted a sum of € 100 to each child and the CSMA also contributed € 50 ”, continues Patrick Vidili. And the children, what do they remember? “We learned a lot of techniques, and good defense patterns. But the best part was the good atmosphere with friends! “
