Bloody Saturday night in Aubervilliers. A man was stabbed in what appears to be an obscure settling of scores.
It is 7:15 pm when the police are alerted by a woman who has just seen this terrible scene of violence taking place in rue Charles Tillon. When they arrive, officials find a man lying unconscious on the sidewalk after being stabbed multiple times. He has five wounds on different parts of the body. Two on the chest and three more on the left arm. The injured was treated by the emergency services and taken to the Bichat hospital in Paris (18th century). The vital prognosis of him is committed.
The patrol interrogates the neighborhood and finds a precious witness. The latter says that this boy was chased by another man on the street. His attacker managed to capture him and knock him down. Once on the ground the victim was beaten. “He asked for mercy, shouting: I will not do it again”, says this local resident. But his attacker ended up stabbing him before leaving the scene on foot.
The attacker arrested outside his home
The investigators have the report of the attacker and also a photo, which they were able to extract from the video surveillance system of the city. The suspect, who has gone home to change, is spotted on the street by officers of the crime brigade in rue Danielle-Casanova. He was arrested and placed in police custody for attempted murder on the premises of the Aubervilliers police station. This Sunday morning a search was carried out in his apartment located not far from the place of his arrest. The hearings and the state of health of the victim will determine the nature of the proceedings that Bobigny’s prosecution will initiate against him.
