Los Angeles is one of the most sought-after travel destinations in North America: the metropolis in California offers Hollywood, Beverly Hills and in the surrounding area a lot of nature and beautiful beaches. Austrian Airlines (AUA) is now flying five times a week from Vienna to Los Angeles. From July, the number of weekly flights will be increased to 6.
The largest long-haul aircraft in the AUA fleet is used, a Boeing 777. The maiden flight with flight number OS 081 recently took off from Vienna Airport. Los Angeles will appear in AUA’s summer timetable until mid-October. The flight time from Vienna is around 12.5 hours. The largest city in California was last represented in the AUA route network in summer 2019. In the eastern United States, Chicago, Washington and two airports in New York are already very well represented, and the west coast is now being strengthened again, according to the AUA. The metropolis is not only a popular holiday destination, but also an important transfer hub for onward flights. Flights to the United States would generally enjoy great popularity.
Im Summer peak, in addition to the six weekly connections between Vienna and Los Angeles, AUA will again be offering daily flights to and from Chicago and Washington. Newark and JFK airports in New York will also be served daily again – mornings and evenings. Austrian Airlines thus offers more than 30 weekly connections from Vienna to the USA.
