On Sunday, an AUA machine from Vienna to New York reversed. Problems arose shortly after take-off, according to the “Austrian Wings” portal.

The pilots therefore turned around for safety reasons and, after waiting in a queue, landed again at Vienna-Schwechat Airport one hour after take-off. The reason for the unscheduled return was a collision with a bird.
