When Kendra tells that she was beaten by the kids, Humberto asks what the hell the parents did when that happened. Then Kendra begins to explain how the situation went. “I got there a day later than planned,” she says. Immediately Kendra noticed that the children were very busy. “I thought what an enthusiastic reception, they jump, they scream.”
Kendra soon realized that the situation was quite intense. And especially the young twins in the house. “They were already poking my hand with forks, while the parents explained to me a bit how and what. The eldest son was completely snowed under by those twins, they really made the difference.”

When Kendra went to get the boys ready for school, the twins beat her. “On my behind and in my face. Those parents stood there and filmed it, with my own vlogging camera, and nothing was said about it.”
The children not only harassed the au pair, but also destroyed the television, for example. “That father had already bought three new TVs that year. It was really just terror.” Kendra doesn’t know why the parents didn’t intervene. “You could tell they were overstrained. They had bags up to their knees, they didn’t eat anything.” Yet Kendra is not completely disappointed in being an au pair because of her unpleasant experiences, but that was mainly due to the program surrounding the entire trip. “I was really looking forward to the outings with other au pairs.”
