Attorney General Investigates Mrs. Ronald Tannur’s Involvement in Bribery at Headquarters Level

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named Gregorius’ mother Ronald TannurMeirizka Widjaja, as a suspect in the alleged corruption case against three judges at the Surabaya District Court. Now the AGO is investigating Meirizka’s involvement in the evil bribery plot to set the cassation decision for Ronald Tannur.

“Well, that is also being investigated (involved in the cassation),” said the Head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Harli Siregar to reporters in his office, Friday (8/11/2024).

Harli then spoke about the beginning of the revelation of the evil plot between Ronal Tannur’s lawyer Lisa Rahmat and former High Court officer Zarof Ricar (ZR) to deal with the issue in the case of Ronald Tannur. He said that he was deepening Meirizka’s knowledge in this matter.

In addition, according to Harli, Meirizka had already agreed with Lisa at the first trial and had given money for bribes worth IDR 1.5 billion.

“Since it’s like this, I understand that LR and ZR have met and there has been a trade, right? That’s what LR admitted,” said Harli.

“Well, 5 plus 1, just because a lot of money was changed. So, is this what MW knows? Because if we look, the case of bribery in Surabaya from the mother was 1.5 (billion), the aid was said to be 2. (billion rupiah) from LR, well “Did LR also report to MW? We’ll see,” Harley continued.

Ronald Tannur’s mother is suspected

Earlier, Jampidsus Attorney General Directorate, Abdul Qohar, said his party had found enough preliminary evidence to name Ronald Tannur’s mother as a suspect. He said that Meirizkan was also questioned while he was a witness.

“After being questioned as a witness against MW (Meirizka Widjaja), the investigators have found enough evidence of criminal acts of corruption, bribery and/or free gifts committed by MW, so that investigators have updated the status of MW, Ronald’s mother who was convicted from. a suspect witness,” Qohar said at a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office. , South Jakarta, Monday (4/11).

Meirizka reportedly started looking for a way to get her son out of the case of Dini Sera’s death on October 5, 2023. Dini Sera died after attacking Ronald Tannur at Lenmarc Mall Surabaya in the early hours of October 4 2023.

Meirizka is said to be close friends with Lisa Rahmat. He said the two met at a cafe in Surabaya to discuss the Ronald Tannur case. The conversation then continued at Lisa Rahmat’s office on October 6, 2023.
