Attorney for Actor Jonathan Majors Denies New Allegations of Abuse

Actor Jonathan Majors has allegedly been accused of further abuse, but his attorney denies the claims and believes he will be “fully exonerated.” Despite the previous allegations against Majors, his attorney insists that these new allegations are unfounded and that the actor will be cleared of any wrongdoing. In this article, we will delve into the allegations against Jonathan Majors and the response from his legal team.

A new report has emerged regarding allegations of abuse by Marvel star, Jonathan Majors. The report claims that additional alleged abuse victims have come forward and are cooperating with the Manhattan district attorney’s office after the actor was arrested and arraigned last month on assault and harassment charges following an alleged domestic dispute in New York. However, Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, denies these allegations and says that the charges are false.

According to Variety, the newly surfaced victims who have come forward will be cooperating with the district attorney’s office, although there has been no official confirmation from the district attorney’s office itself. Meanwhile, Majors’ lawyer has stated that they have provided irrefutable evidence to the district attorney that proves the charges are false and are confident that he will be fully exonerated.

This is not the first time Jonathan Majors has been in trouble with the law. In late March, he was arraigned on charges of assaulting a woman. Majors was released on his own recognizance, and a limited order of protection was granted to the victim by the court. The complaint filed against Majors states that he struck the woman about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear. It also claims that he put his hand on her neck, causing bruising and substantial pain.

Despite these allegations, Chaudhry maintains that Majors is innocent and denies assaulting the woman. She explains that around 11 a.m. on March 25, 2023, Majors called 911 out of concern for the woman’s mental health. The police arrived with the paramedics and arrested Majors due to an NYPD protocol requiring arrest in certain circumstances.

Majors, who recently starred in “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” and was nominated for an Emmy for his role in HBO’s “Lovecraft Country,” is set to play the title character in the upcoming Marvel film, “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” CNN has reached out to Majors and Marvel for comment on this matter.

Furthermore, Majors’ attorney has provided CNN screenshots of messages purportedly sent by the woman, where she allegedly said that investigators “do not have my blessing on any charges being placed.” However, the authenticity of the messages cannot be verified, and the identity of the victim remains unknown as the March complaint filed against Majors did not name her.

It remains to be seen how this will affect Majors’ career and the upcoming Marvel film. However, it is clear that these allegations are serious and must be taken seriously by both the authorities and representatives of Majors. Only time will tell what will come of this situation, and we can only hope that it is resolved in a just and fair manner.

As the case surrounding the allegations against Jonathan Majors continues to develop, his attorney remains steadfast in his defense of the actor. The denial of additional abuse allegations and the promise of full exoneration is a strong statement, and it remains to be seen how the unfolding legal proceedings will play out. However, it is clear that Majors and his legal team are committed to fighting these allegations and proving his innocence. We will continue to follow this story as it develops and provide updates as new information becomes available.
