Former lawyer Governor of Banten Wahidin Halim, Rasyid Hidayat, admitted reporting the incident of throwing a sack of cobras at his client’s private house in Tangerang, Banten. Rasyid said he went to the Tangerang Metro Police.
“I reported it earlier, the police went straight to this TKP, investigated everything on CCTV. Hopefully it will go smoothly,” Rasyid told detikcomWednesday (25/1/2023).
Rasyid said he came to the Tangerang Metro Police at around 17.00 WIB. However, because this case had to be reported by the owner of the house directly, Rasyid said the police asked him to arrange for a power of attorney from Wahidin to himself first.
“Earlier I went to the police station, the house owner had to report it. You are making a power of attorney first,” he said.
Rasyid hopes that the police will investigate the perpetrators of the sack of cobras. He also hopes the perpetrators are caught.
“Yeah report clear, let it be investigated. The hope is that the perpetrators will be caught, that’s why it’s formal through a report,” he concluded.
Wahidin Halim previously admitted that there was a terror by throwing a sack of cobras at his house. The throwing was carried out ahead of Anies Baswedan’s arrival at his house.
“Political risk, but this is really evil, this old-fashioned way,” said Wahidin when contacted.
