We are counting down, there are just a few hours until the vaccines against COVID-19 arrive in Cartagena.
The universal He learned that the 1,260 doses of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer will arrive today after noon at the Rafael Núñez de Cartagena International Airport on a Satena flight.
At the air terminal, the biologicals will be received by the Governor of Bolívar, Vicente Blel, the Mayor of Cartagena, William Dau, and other departmental and district Health authorities.

The Metropolitan Police of Cartagena and Bolívar will accompany the process. From the air terminal the biologicals will be transferred by land to the collection center in the Departmental Health Secretariat, Government of Bolívar.
About 1,500 men will participate in the security caravans made up of various police components such as vehicles, motorcycles and reaction devices.

The Government of Bolívar explained that the departmental collection center has the best conditions and suitable, ethical, professional personnel to receive vaccines against COVID-19.

The doctor Juan Manuel Montes Farah will be the first person to receive the vaccine in the city.
