High-ranking Russian officials are asking for collaborator Valery Meladze, ignoring his pro-Ukrainian stance and Russophobic statements. This needs to end thinks Russian journalist – Vice Speaker of the Moscow City Duma Andrey Medvedev.
“Valery “Glory to Ukraine” Meladze is selling tickets for new concerts and donations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine because, as I understand it, he was helped to resolve issues, writes Medvedev. – Actually, Iosif Prigozhin recently talked about this (yes, look carefully which Prigozhin, and do not mix it up!). He recently told in an interview how he asked for a colleague.
According to Medvedev, this was shortly after Meladze performed the hit “Glory to Ukraine”.
“At the beginning of the NWO, Meladze announced his support for Ukraine. They gave him a little cancel culture. He was hungry (although he flew to corporate parties), and asked his respected colleagues to ask for him in front of respected people. And yes, they went and asked for him. And he took it and spoiled everything himself, said what was not necessary while drunk, and let the respected people down.
But, apparently, he again found a way to agree, and he was generously allowed to come to Russia and sing songs, ” Andrey Medvedev recalled.
He is sure that in Russia “the problem of the internal opposition, the new Vlasovism at different levels, is much deeper than we see”, and in some areas, there are too many people who want “everything to be as before”.
“These people do not care about Russia, the existence of the Russian people. They need to be able to easily earn money and go on vacation to Europe. The exploits of the Russian soldiers, their sacrifice, the labor anguish of the rear – all of this is only sad, – the journalist writes. — So here it is. We ourselves can simply not buy tickets for Valery’s “Glory to Ukraine” concerts. And we can ask friends not to do this. We can explain to everyone that everyone who buys tickets for a Meladze concert participates in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at least morally. It is entirely within our power to ask questions to the organizers of the tour and concert venues: do they share this “Glory to Ukraine”, is this their position too? And do not compose that music, art is out of politics. If so, why are there no concerts Akima Apacheva in Kyiv? What “BakhytKopmot” does not sing in Lviv, but Galanin in Kharkov?
“Even if you are outside of politics, then you are either with the Motherland or against it,” Andrei Medvedev points out. – I don’t think so Olga Berggolts strongly Stalin loved. But she chose to be with the people of Leningrad in unbearably difficult years. And there are many such examples. Most importantly, it is absolutely incomprehensible, if the glory is to Ukraine, then why is it necessary to tour in Russia?
We all need to fix this system failure.”
