After a trip on the slopes of the Mosvoldskaret last Friday, she had had enough.
In the middle of the groomed cross-country track, she was met by not just one, but a larger accumulation of dog poo.
Svendsen was happy that the German shepherd Sara was on the trip.
– The fact that Sara jumped to the side made me discover the poo and was able to stop. If it hadn’t been for her, I would have run right over it, says the dog owner.

The experience made her so annoyed that she snapped a picture with her mobile phone and posted it on Facebook.
There, Svendsen gives a clear message to dog owners who walk the trails:
“Don’t let it look like this after our dogs.”
Dog poo for trouble
– People prepare slopes for us so that we can ski. Then I think it’s a real shame when dog owners don’t pick up the excrement, or make the dogs go to the toilet further out in the forest.
The dog owner points out that there may be families with young children who do not have time to react.

She believes there is a difference between traveling with a dog on groomed ski slopes and in the forest.
– If you walk alone in the forest, you like to make your own track, then that’s fine. But if you go places where there are people moving, I think you should pay attention.
Svendsen believes that many dog owners forget to take a poo bag with them, and that this is the reason why it can look like this.
– I would like to remind people that you must have a bag with you wherever you go. Or get the dog out of the track if you notice that he is getting restless.
