The Ministry of Defense (MoD) warned that in the period March 22-23, 2022, a motorcade will move along the national road infrastructure from Greece to the Novo Selo Training Ground, transporting personnel and military equipment.
The move is in connection with the participation of a formation of the US Army in the joint Bulgarian-American training “Joint Training”, which is held at the training ground.

In connection with the planned joint exercises, military helicopters will fly from Romania to the Novo Selo training ground and back.
The Ministry of Defense reminds that the joint training is carried out from January to June this year within the planned in 2021 exercises of the Bulgarian Army in the country and abroad.
The Joint Training involves forces and resources from the Ministry of Defense, the structures under the direct authority of the Minister of Defense and the Bulgarian Army. Formations of the US Army in Europe participate in it on a rotating basis.
The joint exercises increase the combat capability of the Bulgarian Armed Forces and contribute to interoperability in national and allied formats.
