Nezahualcoyotl, Mex.- As of next Wednesday, the application of vaccines against Covid-19 a nine year olds of age, as well as the second dose to those from 12 to 13 years of age in the Esplanade of the Municipal Palace and in the Nezahualcóyotl Administrative Unit (formerly La Bola), reported Mayor Adolfo Cerqueda Rebollo.
On a schedule from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vaccination days will be held and will conclude next Friday, August 5.
The vaccine that will be supplied to minors will be that of Pfizer. “We call on parents to assist in vaccinating their sons and daughters in a timely manner, since only in this way if they come into contact with the virus that causes this disease and become infected, symptoms would be less risky, and hospitalizations and deaths could be avoided,” said the mayor.
Los documents that are required to go to get vaccinated are the birth certificate or CURP of minors, printed vaccination record which can be downloaded from the page mivacuna.salud.gob.mx.
In the case of second dose for the teenagers of 12 and 13 years oldthey must present proof of application of the first vaccine, proof of address and must also be accompanied by an adult, either their mother, father or guardian, who must carry a valid official identification with a photograph.
The days will be in alphabetical order, so on Wednesday, August 3, all 9-year-old boys and girls, and 12- and 13-year-old adolescents whose paternal surname initials are the letters A, B, C, D, E can be vaccinated , F, G, H, I.
On Thursday, August 4, the letters J, K, L, M, N, Ñ, O, P, Q, and on Friday, August 5, the letters R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z , if they could not go to get vaccinated on the day that corresponds to them, they can do it the next day, but preferably it is best that they go in a timely manner, Adolfo Cerqueda announced.
“On this occasion there will only be two venues that will be located on the Esplanade of the Municipal Palace, located on Chimalhuacán Avenue, without number, in the Benito Juárez neighborhood and in the Nezahualcóyotl Administrative Unit, located on the side of Central Avenue, Calle 35 without number, between Avenida 5 and Avenida 6, Colonia Campestre Guadalupana”, he specified.
