The police indicated that the man was soaked in gasoline and that they immediately went to the home to rescue the woman and put her safe, however, the man was formally accused of kidnapping crimes, attempted murder with aggravating circumstances, he is already apprehended in a New Mexico jail.

Apparently, the man arrived at the motorhome and when he threatened his wife, he brought a cigarette with which he tried to set her on fire, but something went wrong and he could not light it.

The man is currently under investigation by the authorities and the trial is expected to begin in a few days on various charges against his disabled wife.

In a similar case of a person who tries to burn another or succeeds, it occurred a few years ago, it was in early November 2018 that judicial authorities were reported to have sentenced a Hispanic to life in prison for murdering, dismembering and burning the remains of a man in San Antonio, Texas.
