Cologne | On Friday night, two men aged between 20 and 30 are said to have tried to rob a 22-year-old man. At around 2 a.m., the strangers are said to have approached the young man on the Deutzer Bridge just before Siegburger Strasse and demanded his wallet and cell phone. The 22-year-old refused. The attackers then punched and kicked him.
After the attack, the two strangers are said to have run in the direction of Cologne-Poll. Paramedics treated the young man’s injuries.
The dark-clad strangers are said to be about 1.80 meters tall and, according to the attacked, spoke German without an accent.
The Cologne police will receive information about the people, in particular from drivers who were driving over the bridge at the time of the crime, on 0221-229-0.
