An attempted robbery occurred in which two men broke into a luxury watch store in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, and the police secured the custody of two men near the scene.

According to the police, before 7:00 pm on the 13th, at the luxury watch shop “RIBERO” in 3-chome Osu, Naka-ku, Nagoya, the police were notified that “several men broke into the store”.

According to investigative sources, police rushed to the scene and apprehended two men believed to be the culprits. There is currently no information on injuries.

At this store, a robbery case in which several wristwatches worth a total of 180 million yen were stolen by a criminal believed to be a trio in June last year has occurred, and one man has been arrested so far.

The police are planning to interview the men who secured it and to investigate the relationship with past robberies.
